The Boys Next Door – Play at The Players Theatre

John Bartone, MD

Friday night, July 12, 2013, Julie Weinstock and I traveled to Sarasota to watch a play with friends.  Our main reason for going to the play was to view our friend’s art which was being exhibited at The Player’s Theatre in Sarasota, Florida.

The artist is multi-talented – Dr. John Bartone who is a radiologist, thermologist and Manager-Medical Operations of Greenpoint Thermography LLC.

The art exhibit showcased his brilliant style of artwork! If you are in Sarasota please don’t miss the opportunity to view some of his art!

These actors and actresses did a wonderful job portraying their characters with both humor and a real insight into the lives of people with mental illness    and/or developmental disabilities.  They delivered the story with incredible accurately and the story helped to foster a better understanding of the emotionally and mentally challenged individual.

It was excellent!  I’d recommend this play to adults looking for a great night out!
